Are you unsure if you are ready to teach online? Here are some checklists you can use to confirm you are ready. This checklist is an ever-evolving document. Zoom (live video conferencing)

• Log in with SSO including 2FA
• Set up the Zoom Moodle Module or the Compass2g Zoom Tool Link
• Schedule a Zoom meeting

* Note: On Mac OS 10.15 and above, you need to allow Zoom access to Screen Recording to share your screen. You can do this in your System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording. Check the box for Zoom.us.

Moodle (primary LMS for College)

• Set up a course in Moodle
• Add Content
  • Documents
  • Pre-recorded lectures [See MediaSpace section below]
  • Outside resources [Consider finding multimedia or interactive resources]
• Create discussion forums
  • Be specific [Create focused prompts designed to engage the students and tie to certain learning objectives.]
  • Set expectations [Tell students how long a post should be and how many times they should reply to classmates.]
  • Engage with the students in their discussions [Point out good insights and ask follow-up questions.]
