Presenter: Jennifer Cromley, Professor, Educational Psychology

Jennifer will demonstrate various aspects of a course that she has taught in the ‘F2F for some and online for others’ hybrid mode for many years. She will discuss her thoughts about and decisions regarding

• Synchronous and/or asynchronous options
• Recording software, editing, and production
• Making recordings as much like F2F as possible
• Small group work and
• Student assessment

Among other technologies, she will demonstrate Camtasia screen/video recording and editing software, Compass2g/Blackboard, Google Drawings, and a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet with pen. Jennifer has found these approaches useful over this summer as well when working with students on designing, conducting, and interpreting data analyses and literature reviews for dissertations and early research projects.
