Presenter: Adam Rusch, IT Partners
This session will explore ideas of how to facilitate engaged learning in online courses by balancing three important elements: Technology affordances, pedagogical philosophy, and learner characteristics. Each of these factors has an influence on the overall system of learning and a change to one will affect the others. By recognizing what options are available in designing and teaching a course we can find the balance that best promotes engaged learning among our students.
